The latest adventure we have in store for you is the Among the Thirsty 2008 Christmas tour!! They will be making a stop at Evangel Heights Christian Academy in Sarver (just off Route 28 exit 16) on Sunday, December 14, 2008. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the evening will start out with special guests The Chois.
Tickets are just $5.00 and are available at the door, by phone at 724.594.3348 or on this site on the Buy Tix tab. This site is the only way to use credit card or paypal account, otherwise tickets are cash or checks only.
This is sure to a fun evening for all ages! Bring the family, friends, co-workers, etc. to help get everyone into the Christmas spirit. See you there!!

On Sunday, October 26, 2008 RockSolid welcomed Willet to Evangel Heights Christian Academy in Sarver. They brought the Virus Tour in and as usual put on an amazing show. The excitement and energy in the crowd was evident throughout the evening.
The band shared about their work with Food for The Hungry and and several children were sponsored over the course of Willet’s weekend with RockSolid. This is an awesome way to make a difference in the world, one child at a time.
As part of the evening, we will collected canned goods and non-persihable food items for a food drive and filled three boxes for a local food pantry. Thanks to all who came out and contributed. Wow, what a great time at RockSolid Fest 2008. The bands were amazing, the weather was beautiful, the food was delicious and the grounds at Biblical life Institute were great. About a Mile, Aevory Nash, Failure to Excel, Willet, Among the Thirsty and Breaking the Silence helped make this the best year yet.
Now, if you enjoyed this year, get on board and help us out with 2009. We would love to have you and/or your youth group involved. The biggest help we need is in promotion--just getting the word out. Tell people about RockSolid. We want to continue to bring high-quality, low-cost, high-impact events to this area, but we need your help.

The first two years of RockSolid were held on the grounds of North Apollo Church of God. 2008 marks the move of the festival to Biblical Life Institute just outside of Freeport, PA. We are excited about this move, as it puts us very accessible to Pittsburgh (via Route 28) and closer to many other towns. The grounds of BLI are amazing and allow us to continue to work toward our future goals of this being a multi-day overnight camping festival (sort of a “mini-Creation festival.”) As for this year, the date will be Saturday, August 16. Final details are still to come, but you can get an idea of the lineup on the Bands tab. The fun will start around 2:00 PM.
