RockSolid 2009 is coming soon!!! Saturday, August 8th at Evangel Heights Christian Academy in Sarver, PA. This is right off Route 28 at Freeport exit (#16). The music will start around 2:00 PM and it is shaping up to be the best year yet! Check out the bands on this site or go listen to them on our myspace page (www.myspace.com/rocksolidfest2007.)
Tickets are just $8.00 in advance and can be purchased online on this site using Paypal or credit cards, by phone at 724-594-3348, at Hope Shick’s Family Hair Salon in Vandergrift, PA (724-568-1126) or at Evangel Heights Christian Academy (call 724-295-9199 for hours). In December 2008, Among the Thirsty brought their “Very Thirsty Christmas” tour to Evangel Heights Christian Academy in Sarver. Special guests, The Chois. opened up and all in all it was a great evening.

On Sunday, October 26, 2008 RockSolid welcomed Willet to Evangel Heights Christian Academy in Sarver. They brought the Virus Tour in and as usual put on an amazing show. The excitement and energy in the crowd was evident throughout the evening.
The band shared about their work with Food for The Hungry and and several children were sponsored over the course of Willet’s weekend with RockSolid. This is an awesome way to make a difference in the world, one child at a time.
As part of the evening, we will collected canned goods and non-persihable food items for a food drive and filled three boxes for a local food pantry. Thanks to all who came out and contributed. We have been slow at updating the pictures on this site, but you can visit www.myspace.com/rocksolidfest2007 for pictures from both the Willet show and from RockSolid 2008.

Wow, what a great time at RockSolid Fest 2008. The bands were amazing, the weather was beautiful, the food was delicious and the grounds at Biblical life Institute were great. About a Mile, Aevory Nash, Failure to Excel, Willet, Among the Thirsty and Breaking the Silence helped make this the best year yet.
Now, if you enjoyed this year, get on board and help us out with 2009. We would love to have you and/or your youth group involved. The biggest help we need is in promotion--just getting the word out. Tell people about RockSolid. We want to continue to bring high-quality, low-cost, high-impact events to this area, but we need your help.

The first two years of RockSolid were held on the grounds of North Apollo Church of God. 2008 marked a move to Biblical Life Institute in Slate Lick, PA. We are excited about another move this year, to Evangel Hights in Sarver, as it puts us very accessible to Pittsburgh (via Route 28) and closer to many other towns. We hope to make this a more permanent host for this festival. The grounds are beautiful, and we know you will love it!
